Ellwood City earned a 4-1 team victory during Mondays boy’s tennis match between Ellwood City and Beaver Falls.
Leading the Wolverine singles was Alex Scott who won two clean 6-0 sets against his Beaver Falls opponent. Ellwood’s Max Kuffer also won his singles match (6-1, 6-2), which helped lead the Wolverines to the 4-1 team victory.
During doubles action, Ellwood City’s Bradon Barr and Devin Lust came back from an opening set defeat to win the last two sets 6-4 and 6-4 to collect a match victory. Andrew and Aden Busby collected a win (6-1, 6-2) in their doubles match as well.
The varsity boys team will have their next match at Neshannock on Wednesday, April 3 starting at 3:30 p.m.
