Ellwood City Tennis To Host Mini Clinic

Ellwood City Tennis will be conducting a tennis clinic for any boy or girl interested in learning the basics of tennis. The tennis clinic will be held on June 26th, 27th, and 28th, 2023 at the Ewing Park Courts from 10:00 a.m to 11:15 a.m. Any child ages 5-12 is eligible to sign up and participate. Each participant will receive a t-shirt. The clinic will promote tennis skills from the basic to moderate level. “The participants will learn skills pertaining to tennis. Ellwood City leaned on Ryan Odom who earned a singles match victory to propel Ellwood City to a 3-2 victory over rival Riverside on Tuesday. Odom defeated Jaden Falk 6-5 and 7-5. For Riverside, Samuel Hughes collected a singles victory, defeating Grady Smith of Ellwood City 6-0 and 6-3. The Wolverines boys tennis team dropped its first match of the season, falling to Blackhawk 4-1 in Ewing Park Monday afternoon. Grady Smith picked up the lone victory for Ellwood City. Smith defeated Aiden Terry 6-2 and 7-5 in singles play. Ellwood City Girls Volleyball has officially started for the Lady Wolverines as they defeated the Ambridge Bridgers in three straight sets to pick up the early season victory.
