Paul Scott “Scooter” Hays, 53, of Ellwood City, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born in Beaver Falls on January 12, 1965 Scott was the son of Leslie Grey Hays and the former Rebecca Moore. He formerly owned and operated Scott’s General Contracting and Hays Welding and most recently welded at Aiken’s Refuse. Scooter, as he was know to family and friends, enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and working on cars.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Scott Hays of Chewton, a daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Joshua Hill of Ellwood City, a grandson, Jacob Hill, three step-sons; Michael Coffman, Nicholas Coffman and McKenzie Coffman and a brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Janice Hays of Darlington.
Scott was preceded in death by a daughter, Brittany Leigh Johnston, a brother, David Hays and his grandfather, Arthur Hayes, Sr.
Friends will be received on Saturday, December 8th at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM in the funeral home with Pastor Peggy Suhr-Barkley
