Unseasonably warm weather welcomed the hundreds of festival-goers at the ninth annual Ellwood City Oktoberfest held in Ewing Park on Saturday afternoon.
The Ellwood City Wolves Club, Rotary Club of Ellwood City, Ellwood City Lions Club and Pete’s Uptown Beer and Beverage were major players in the annual event that featured over 100 kraft beers, plenty of food, and musical and other entertainment.
In addition, the festival continues to see an increase in home brewers in attendance, with this year offering over a dozen different home brewers on the festival grounds showcasing their specialty brews.
