PHOTO: Allegheny Aquatic Alliance Recognized With Borough Commendation

At Monday evening’s council meeting, the Borough of Ellwood City proudly recognized the Allegheny Aquatic Alliance for continued diligence in removing debris from the Connoquenessing Creek and restoring the waterway to its natural beauty

This commendation will be spread upon the minutes of the regular monthly meeting of the Borough Council held the 17th day of September, 2018.

The Allegheny Aquatic Alliance board members present at Monday’s council meeting who were further recognized for their efforts for promoting clean waterways by completing the Connoquenessing creek clean up and all 50 miles of the creek with the assistance of 128 volunteers this year.  95% of debris has been removed including some 400 tires.
