The Club Hope Foundation is selling Pink Out T-Shirts for $10 to be worn for the football games during October. Club Hope is doing a Football Challenge at the Ellwood vs. Riverside game on October 12.
A teacher from each school will go on the field at halftime and throw mini-footballs into a garbage can. The teacher that loses has to wear a t-shirt from the other school for the remainder of the game. The Club Hope Foundation will also be passing out some “goodies” to the football players and fans.
“We will also be giving each football team pink ribbon stickers to wear on their helmets and passing out ribbons and stickers to fans,” said Cara Atkinson, founder of Club Hope. “We encourage all fans to wear pink that night as well.”
As of right now the t-shirts say Ellwood, Riverside and Shenango. Shenango may also participate in the challenge to raise money during October.
