Koppel Bridge Updates According to PennDOT:

The $27.58 million Route 351 Koppel Bridge replacement project continues in 2018 with steel erection, and pier and retaining wall construction to the bridge connecting Koppel Borough to North Sewickley Township over Beaver River. Traffic will be maintained on the existing bridge during the construction of the new bridge. An approximate three-month closure with detour will occur in the summer of 2019. Additional work includes signage, pavement markings, drainage, and guiderail installation.

Portersville Road Bridge Updates According to PennDOT:

PennDOT District 11 is announcing bridge replacement work on Portersville Road (Route 488) in Wayne and Perry townships, Lawrence County, will begin Monday, April 2 weather permitting.

Bridge replacement work will begin at 7 a.m. Monday on Route 488 over Slippery Rock Creek between Hickernell Road and Wurtemburg Road (Route 2003). The bridge will close to traffic continuously through Tuesday, July 31. All traffic will be detoured.

Turn right onto Wurtemburg Road
Follow Wurtemburg Road back to Route 488
End detour

East of the bridge

Take the ramp to eastbound Route 422 toward Butler
Take the ramp to Route 19 toward Mercer/Zelienople
Turn right onto southbound Route 19
Follow Route 19 back to Route 488
