Borough of Ellwood City Adopts Utility Account Budget Plan

According to a press release made available by the Borough of Ellwood City, a utility account budget plan has been announced. The Ellwood City Borough Council adopted Resolution #2004-4 approving a budget payment plan for utility accounts under the following provisions: Customers may complete the application form provided by the Borough during the annual open enrollment period from the third Monday in March through the third Friday in April. The first budget-billing amount will appear on the May utility bill. The maximum budget periods will be twelve (12) months with all balances due to be settled in the 12th month….

Council Votes on Issue Regarding Ellwood City Electric

Ellwood City Council Votes 4-2 at Monday’s agenda meeting to find out more information on Rep. Aaron Bernstine’s suggested changes to the Ellwood City Electrical Department. The council will not be voting on the seven issues suggested by Bernstine at next Monday’s council meeting. The attached information is being provided by the Borough in order to inform Ellwood City Electric customers of the effect the reduction in the Transmission and Capacity charges set by PlM has had upon the Rate Adjustment (pP A Factor) and customer billings during the months of April 2017 through the upcoming billing in July 2017. According to information made available to EllwoodCity.org on Friday, the utility bill that Ellwood City Borough Electric customers are now receiving is due June 20th (not June 14th). Bernstine, Court Agree to Send Information to District Attorney Office

ELLWOOD CITY – In response to parking tickets that were issued at a legislative press conference on Thursday, May 11, state Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R-New Beaver) and Ellwood City Mayor Anthony Court have jointly agreed to send documentation of the event to the Lawrence County District Attorney office, Bernstine announced today. During State Representative Aaron Bernstine’s electric press conference yesterday, nearly a dozen attendees, including both he and another state representative were issued parking tickets for parking arguably legally.
