Corona D’Italia Lodge #807held their monthly meeting on Wednesday, November 8 at 5p.m. at Pizza Joe’s. President Clemmy Sirimarco, hosted the pizza luncheon served by Guard Lois DiFrishia, Secretary Jackie Perno and Historian Mary Jane Folino. Trustee Patty Regna voiced a commemorative prayer for all living and deceased sister lodge members and all of our military personnel. Corona D’italia Lodge #807 held their Columbus Day Dinner on Saturday, October 07, 2:00 PM at the Wolverine Restaurant. Arriving guests were registered by Treasurer, Louise Vitullo and her member, daughter, Patty Kuhn. Trustee, Pudue LaCava, directed seating for the sit down dinner. Timothy A. Houk, a senior from Ellwood City, received a $500.00 scholarship courtesy of the Corona D’Italia Lodge #807 committee. Son of Tom and Lee Ann Houk, he is employed at the Log Cabin and also involved with the family business, he followed the academic course of study through high school and participated in boys basketball and the History Club and now plans to attend Slippery Rock University to study exercise science. Two Graduates Receive Corona D’Italia Scholarships

Jordan Dobbin, a senior at Canon-McMillan High School of Canonsburg, Pa. was awarded a $500 Corona D’Italia Memorial Scholarship in honor of her academic achievement and community involvement. Her eligibility was based on her grandfather, Herman D’Amico being a member of the Sons of Italy #608. She plans to attend California University of Pennsylvania to study Social Deviance. Her parents are Thomas and Amy (D’Amico) Dobbin of Cannonsburg and her grandparents are Herman and Jane D’Amico of Ellwood City. Lincoln High School senior Christopher B. Corona D’Italia Lodge #807 held their annual Mother-Daughter-Scholarship dinner Wednesday, May 4 at 5 p.m. at the Wolverine Restaurant. Members and guests were greeted and registered by Patti Kuhn, Maura Greco and their mother the lodge treasurer, Louise Vitullo. Corona D’Italia Lodge #807 will hold their monthly meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 3 at 5 p.m. at Pizza Joe’s. A Valentine Party will be held and all attending are requested to bring a Valentine card with a $1 gift and nickels for the social. Treasurer Louise Vitullo is now accepting payment for 2016 dues.
