The cookbook offers readers a chance to get into the kitchen one day a week to make something that’s fun, tasty and simple.

“They’re very easy,” Tusinac said of the recipes in her book. “They’re all basic. They’re user-friendly.”

Among the 52 recipes in the cookbook are: Twisted Sister, Better Than Sex, Bourbon Maple Bacon, Chocolate Guinness, Bunny Bliss, Irish Cream, Margarita, Salted Caramel Peanut, Banana Split, Milkshake, Cookies ‘n’ Cream, Apple  Dumpling Gang, PB&J, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup, Honey Bun and Moose Tracks (Reindeer Tracks in Winter) cupcakes.*

The cookbook includes recipes for 44 cupcakes, easily made from store-bought cake mixes, as well as eight recipes for cookies and pie bars. Tusinac also includes seven recipes for the icings that make her desserts extra special.
