Pittsburgh Steelers to Play Basketball Game at Lincoln High School

For the first time in several years, the Pittsburgh Steelers will be playing a basketball game at Lincoln Junior Senior High School.

The LHS Caring Team is sponsoring the event in which current and former members of the Pittsburgh Steelers will play against a team of Ellwood City Area School District faculty members and some players from this year’s boys basketball team.

The game will tip off at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 28, following a co-ed game featuring alumni from Lincoln’s boys’ and girls’ teams at 7:00.

Tickets are $7 each and are available at each school building in the Ellwood district and at National Grind on Lawrence Avenue and Johnny’s Pizza Shop on 4th Street.

Players from the Steelers’ team will sign autographs during halftime of their game for anyone in attendance.

  1. I would like to know if the pittsburgh steelers ever played against the Lincoln High school alumni in the 70’s? I would of thought some of the players did.
