Corona D’Italia Lodge #807 held their monthly meeting on June 14 at 5p.m. at Pizza Joe’s. The session began with a pizza luncheon hosted by President Clemmy Sirimaraco an served by officers Lois DiFrichia, Mary Jane Folino and Esther Santilo. Trustee Patty Regna voice a commemorative invocation in observance of Flag Day.
The business session followed with financial reports presented by Treasurer Louise Vitullo. It was again stressed that beneficiary changes may be made by contacting her. Sirimarco reported on the monthly fund raising and she may be contacted for participation. Christine Butchelli gave an update on President Ann Butchelli who is recuperating from a fall in her home – chairman of the 100th lodge anniversary, she continues assembling the history. Co-Chairman Valerie Valentino is coordinating and reported on committee needs and requests that members contact her with their assistance in working on various programs. Alternate, Santilo reported that Delegate Dr. Francine Bond will be attending the Pennsylvania State Grand Lodge convention in Harrisburg.
Valentino conducted a brief social and presented candy bar favors to all in attendance. She expressed her appreciation for the support of all lodge members in awarding the yearly scholarships. The next monthly meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 12 at 5p.m. at Pizza Joe’s.
