Police Report: Adderal Stolen in Burglary

According to the police report, on Monday night officers were called to the residence of 520 Second Street in Ellwood. The victim stated that she came home and heard foot steps and noises in her house. She said there was a trail of “wet” footprints, which she cleaned up before police arrived, and the screen on the upstairs window was popped out. It appeared that the burglars may have entered the house by climbing onto a steel crate located around the back of the house giving them the ability to reach the roof, thus allowing them to force their way through the second floor window. The victim claims the only thing stolen was a prescription bottle of Adderal. Officers took items for fingerprinting. The case is under further investigation.
