Simple Assault on Easter
- According to the criminal complaint, on March 27, police responded to a domestic dispute on Possum Hollow Road in New Beaver Borough. The accused, Candace Lane Freed, 56, got into an argument with the victim, her boyfriend. The argument escalated until it erupted into physical violence. Freed struck the victim several times around his head and neck. This fight would end up causing part of their Easter Dinner to fall on the ground. Freed was charged with simple assault and harassment.
Intoxicated Man Waits for Cheeseburger that Was Never Ordered
- According to the criminal complaint, investigating officers observed an erratic driver in the McDonald’s drive through on March 31 at approximately 12:15 a.m. The driver didn’t place an order as he didn’t have cash available. However, he still waited at the window. When asked why, the man responded that he was waiting for his cheeseburger. The driver was identified as William Victor Foley, 51, of Middlesburgh, Pa. He admitted to drinking “a lot.” He was taken to the Ellwood City Hospital and charged with two counts of DUI.

- According to the criminal complaint, on March 16 at approximately 1:16 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Wampum Ave. when a vehicle failed to use a turn signal. The driver, Paris Keairre Anderson, 25, of Wampum, had green vegetable matter on his lap and had glassy, bloodshot eyes. Anderson was taken to the Ellwood City Hospital. He was charged with DUI: Controlled substances and failing to use a turn signal.
Are these articles supposed to make people laugh? Because the way they are worded is not funny. Spilling Easter dinner? Drinking “a lot” ” green vegetable matter”. Like just report the incident in a mature way. Anyone in the world that would click on this site and read just continues to laugh. Grow up EC org. These are serious instances that seem to just being poked fun at. You can put articles in about St. Agatha that make it appear that the world has ended Bc the church is gone, but alcohol drugs and violence seem to ok to make fun of. This site is worthless anymore plain and simple.

Ellwood City looks bad enough these days we don’t need articles that sound like a 4 year old wrote them. I’m having plenty of fun thinking of how worthless you are as well. I remember when this EC org site was actually interesting to log onto and read. It is a truly a shame what it has become. The people like “thinks you’re boring” and “made me laugh” who are probably the same person truly shows you the people that live in this town. The people just keep increasing , just like the taxes.
I saw where the person with the November drug overdose & baptism fight in late December, had yet another drug overdose and arrested be new castle police. Leopards do NOT change their spots . Another L C loser .
