Ellwood City Police Not Securing Home Game Tonight

It was mentioned in a previous post that Ellwood City School District is forced to hire private security instead of having Ellwood City Police securing the home games like they have been doing for years. Part one of a two-conference game week one occurred in the likes of Monaca, PA where newly-introduced-to-AAA ball Ellwood City matched up against Central Valley for an early conference outlook.  Coming fresh off of a 11-2 WPIAL runner-up finish, Central Valley was opening the season with hopes of repeating such success. Tonight is the start of the season for the Wolverines and Panthers! Central Valley High School will be hosting the Wolverines vs. Central Valley game tonight. For anyone who can’t make the game tonight but would like to watch it, the event will be live streamed from the Wolverines official website starting at 7p.m. Riverside High School will be hosting the Panther vs. Steel Valley game tonight, starting at 7p.m.
