NORTH SEWICKLEY TWP.- Students, family and friends, along with the Ellwood City Wolves Club Den II members, gathered to celebrate the awarding of scholarships at their annual scholarship dinner on May 20 at the Connoquenessing Country Club. Ellwood City Historical Society Membership Meeting May 14

   Everett Bleakney welcomed everyone to the May 14 meeting of the Ellwood City Area Historical Society.  There were 36 in attendance. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Guy Prestia, a WWII veteran. Minutes of the previous meeting were read.  Motion to accept was made by David Barensfeld and seconded by Ron Geddes. Ellwood Student Among Students To Receive Shell Chemical Awards Scholarship

Monaca, PA – Following the historic announcement of Shell Chemical Appalachia LLC’S $1 million investment to expand and name Community College of Beaver County’s (CCBC’s) Process Technology facilities, 13 students, including Ellwood City’s Earl Sanders, were named recipients of the 2018 Shell Two-Year Associate in Technology Scholarship. The Ellwood City Wolves Club is again offering scholarships to seniors residing in the Ellwood City Area School District or Riverside Area School District who plan on attending a 4-year college or community college program. Applications for the scholarship will be made available to students at their Guidance Offices for Lincoln & Riverside seniors. ELLWOOD CITY, PA (June 7, 2017) – McDonald’s of Ellwood City and the Beaver County Foundation are pleased to announce that Dominic Nocera of Lincoln High School is the recipient of the 2017 Dom Viccari-McDonald’s of Ellwood City Scholarship. Rotary Club of Ellwood City Awarded $1000 District Simplified Grant

The Rotary Club of Ellwood City received a grant to support the reading clubs at the Ellwood City Area Public Library. The Rotary District Simplified Grant is a matching funds grant that is designed to help local Rotary Clubs use a portion of their foundation contributions.
