The Riverside Lions Club continues its community support through various programs and donations. The club offers a series of updates below spotlighting their recent efforts: To start things off the club made a donation to the Ellwood City Library Used Book Sale in the form of gift certificates to be given to any teacher asking for them. Riverside Lions Club Provides Community Support Updates

The Riverside Lions Club continues its community support through various programs and donations. The club offers a series of updates below spotlighting their recent efforts: The club started off the new segment by participating in a District Soup Assembly. Under the supervision of PDG’s Jeff and Maria Laudermilk (Riverside/Hopewell Lions) members from different clubs in the District met at the Butler Blind Association to assemble the equivalent of 9000 dry soup meals. Riverside Lions Club Monthly Update

The Riverside Lions Club had a busy past few weeks hosting events, providing support, and earning awards. The month of February started the Lions Club off with the Math 24 competition. The Riverside club spearheads this event and is supported by all the Lions clubs in Beaver County and Pizza Joes. This year’s event was held at the New Brighton High School, with approximately 150 students participating. Math 24 is a card game played by 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students designed to test their skills with math puzzles. There is a competition at each school in the…

The Riverside Lions Club has kept busy over the past several weeks, raising funds, distributing supplies, and earning a prestigious award according to King Lion Chip Campbell. The Club had the opportunity to distribute school supplies to five different schools in our area. Riverside Lions Club Collecting Hygiene Products As Part Of Hygiene Helpers Program

The Riverside Lions Club will once again be collecting hygiene products as part of its Hygiene Helpers program. This is now the fifth year the Hygiene Helpers program will be at the Franklin Township Giant Eagle. The products collected are divided equally between the Riverside nurses and Divine Grace Social Services. The collection box is located by the first checkout counter, when shopping please consider making a donation. Riverside Lions Busy With Donations And Fundraisers

The Riverside Lions have been busy over the last few months with donations and fundraisers according to King Lion Chip Campbell. First, the Lions donated money along with hygiene products, provided by Dr. Marion and Miracle Dental, to the Divine Grace Ministerium. “The donations were made through the Hygiene Helpers initiative supported by the Riverside Lions and will be used to buy hygiene products for some of the over 300 families supported by Divine Grace Food Bank,” says Campbell. Riverside Lions Club Distributes Gifts, Supports Hygiene Helpers This Past Holiday Season

The Riverside Lions Club was busy during the holiday season. With the support of Project Homefront the club was able to distribute toys to five different locations in our area just in time for Christmas. The club distributed them to Riverside Elementary School, Perry Elementary, North Side Kindergarten, Central Valley School, and Divine Grace Social Services. Riverside Lions Donate Candy, Aid In Tornado Relief Efforts In Kentucky

The Riverside Lions recently got involved in two noteworthy causes. The club got to help distribute a large amount of donated leftover Christmas candy, cookies and bake goods to six different organizations. “We were able to give to Riverside Angel Fund, Ellwood City School District, Beaver Falls School District, Central Valley School District, Holy Redeemer Social Services and the Portersville Food Bank,” says King Lion Chip Campbell.
