Riverside High School Hosting Senior Citizen Program

Riverside High School Student Council will be hosting their Annual Senior Citizen Program on Wednesday, December 17th. The program is scheduled to take place from 12:00 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. The event is free to all senior citizens. The day will consist of the High School Band, Choir and elementary choir students performing in the High School Auditorium followed by a Holiday Dinner. 2025 Riverside Homecoming Court Announced

The Riverside High School has announced its 2025 Homecoming Court. Homecoming Game is Friday, October 3rd at 7:00 p.m. Pregame starts at 6:30 p.m. Crowning of the 2025 Homecoming Queen will take place during halftime of the Panthers football game against the Freedom Area Bulldogs. The Riverside Homecoming dance is Saturday, October 4th at 7:30 p.m. at the Riverside High School. There is no homecoming king. Roslyn Steinbach was crowned the 2024 Riverside Homecoming last September. ELLWOOD Hosts 19th Annual High School Engineering Day At EC Forge

ELLWOOD, in partnership with Lawrence County School-to-Work, hosted their 19th annual High School Engineering Day on Thursday, March 6, at ELLWOOD’s New Castle campus. Over 30 students from area high schools visited the ELLWOOD location to learn about engineering careers, tour the New Castle campus, and more. The event is designed to be both fun and educational as the students had the opportunity to witness the state-of-the-art processes as well as material testing and machining at ELLWOOD Quality Steels, ELLWOOD City Forge New Castle and North American Forgemasters. PHOTOS: Annual Panther Night

The annual Panther Night was held Thursday at Riverside Memorial Stadium. Panther Night is a community event celebrating back to school and Fall sports teams and kicked off with the Riverside Marching Band performing and the introduction of the athletes. The event features food booths run buy many of the district booster organizations along with two food trucks and an array of apparel offerings available to help support student athletes as well. The Riverside Panthers Varsity Football team hosts Northgate on Friday, August 30th at 7:00 p.m. to kick off its regular season.
