Riverside Beaver County SD Set To Begin School August 31

The Riverside Beaver County School District is set to return to school on Tuesday, August 31st. The RBCSD District Board of Directors approved a Health and Safety plan to open school full-time for the upcoming school year. Below are excerpts from the Health and Safety Plan from the district website: Unnecessary classroom furniture and items were removed to allow for extra spacing. Ellwood City Wolves Club Awards $15,000 In Scholarships To Local Students

Riverside To Start Summer Meal Program

The Riverside cafeteria staff will begin the summer meal program the week of June 14, 2021. Riverside will offer a 5-day package for pick-up every Tuesday from 4-6 p.m. The pick-up location is expected to be at the Middle School. However, the location may change to the elementary school due to construction projects throughout the district. Food service staff will pack bags on Mondays and distribute on Tuesdays. The package will consist of 5 lunch meals, 5 breakfast meals, and a 1/2 gallon of white milk. The summer meal service is free for all district children age 18 and under….


Riverside High School 2021 Prom

Riverside High School held their 2021 prom this past Friday May 7th. The promenade took place at Riverside High School where students walked through both the gymnasium and auditorium for friends and family to see. The dance was held at Rustic Meadows Farms in Darlington, Pennsylvania. The prom court was selected earlier in the week and the king and queen were crowned at the end of promenade. Registration Open For 25th Annual Gobbler’s Gallop On Thanksgiving

The Gobbler’s Gallop turns a quarter century. The 25th annual Gobbler’s Gallop will take place on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, at Riverside High School’s Memorial Stadium. The 10K race will start at 9:00 a.m. sharp while the 5k race will be begin at 10:15 a.m.  The event also offers a 5k for walkers that will begin at 9:0 a.m. Registration will begin at the Riverside Kindergarten Center at 8:00 a.m. for 10k and 5k walkers.  All people must wear a mask during registration and at the start of the race but not while running. Lions Club Announce Student of the Month

Angel Zilka, a Riverside senior, is the Ellwood City Lions Club Student of the Month for February 2020. Zilka plans on attending the Community College of Beaver County and is also working as an intern at the Ellwood City Forge Pictured below, left to right are Chris, Angel, and Carl Zelka, along with King Lion Chip Campbell. Riverside SD Announces New Student Online Enrollment; Students of the Month

Riverside will be implementing Skyward New Student Online Enrollment on February 10, 2020. The Riverside School District is creating a new way to enroll students new to our district, including NEW KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENTS FOR 20-21.  The process is automated and eliminates the need for printing endless forms.  The process walks new parents/guardians through a series of questions and will help improve the efficiency of the enrollment process.  We will be working diligently this week to create and test our new system.  Access will be available February 10, 2020.  No phone calls for kindergarten enrollment will be received until Monday, Feb…

Riverside senior and golf standout Justin Hand signed his NCAA National Letter of Intent on Wednesday, November 13th to play collegiate golf at Tiffin University in Ohio. Hand played well and qualified for the PIAA Western Regional golf finals in September and also participated in the 2019 US Junior Amateur Championship in July.
