Senior Katie Stang seized the win for Riverside in a conference home game against Beaver Falls yesterday. Both teams were initially bogged down. The first quarter ended only 5-5, with many missed shots between the teams. By the end of the game, the Lady Panthers had collectively missed 36 of 76 shots. The Riverside Lady Panthers nearly had their first loss to Quigley Academy on Saturday, Dec. 12. Behind the entire game, Riverside launched a counterattack in the fourth quarter to make up the difference and come out ahead by four points. After a successful tip off tournament, the Riverside Lady Panthers traveled to Eden Christian Academy on Monday for a win. Riverside defeated ECA 62-21.
