Riverside High School held its 62nd annual commencement on Friday, May 31st at the Riverside Memorial Stadium. A total of 111 seniors comprised the Riverside Class of 2024. Riverside High School is proud to announce the 2024 Riverside Prom Court. Riverside Junior/Senior promenade will take place Friday, May 10th beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Riverside High School auditorium with the formal prom to follow at the Connoquenessing Country Club. Eleven seniors at Lincoln High School and four at Riverside presented business plans April 25 as the capstone project in a Riv-Ell Entrepreneurship Program and in pursuit of a 16-credit Butler County Community College workplace certificate in entrepreneurship funded by donors. Record 15 Riv-Ell Students Pitch Business Plans

A record 15 high school seniors profiting from a yearlong Riv-Ell Entrepreneurship Program pitched business plans April 25 that impressed Ellwood City area leaders and in pursuit of graduating from Butler County Community College on May 15 with a 16-credit workplace certificate funded by donors. The 11 Lincoln and four Riverside seniors in 2023-2024 represent the largest group to seek the post-secondary credential in a 6-year-old program that combines academic coursework with practical experiences. Williams Accepts Softball Scholarship With Fairmont State University

Last week, Riverside senior shortstop Mia Williams signed to continue her athletic career at Fairmont State University. Williams has started and lettered the past three years of varsity softball and has been named the Beaver County Times Athlete of the Week. As a junior, Williams doubled and collected three RBIs to help lead the Lady Panthers to the quarterfinals of the WPIAL Playoffs for the first since 2013. Williams is going to study nursing at Fairmont State University.
