Registration Open for the 2025–2026 REC Wrestling Season

It’s that exciting time of year again—REC Wrestling registration for the 2025–2026 season is still open! If your child has ever wanted to step onto the mat, learn discipline and confidence, and have a blast doing it, now’s the perfect time to join. Practices begin Tuesday, October 21 at 5:30 p.m. at the North Side Wrestleteria (the North Side Elementary cafeteria). Wrestlers and families should enter through the back doors in the alley behind the school. WEEKLY ROUND-UP: Ellwood City Sports

ELLWOOD CITY CROSS COUNTRY: Ellwood City swept Beaver Falls and Shenango handedly on Tuesday. Four Wolverine runners took the top four spots in the boys overall. Junior Bradley Custer led the way with an overall low time of 16:57.31. The strong team effort earned a 15-50 win over Beaver Falls and 16-49 win over Shenango. REC Wrestling Registration Information

On Thursday, October 25 from 6:00 p.m until 7:30 p.m, boys and girls from first grade up to sixth grade can come and sign up for the 2018-2019 REC Wrestling season.  This is the third and final date in a series of registrations dates held for the program. Sign ups will be held in the Lincoln High School Commons Area.  The REC Wrestling program fundamentals include safety, sportsmanship, fun and achievement. “Set goals. Have a plan. Work hard. Improve every day.” There’s a $80 single registration fee, or a family fee of $120. These expenses covers entry into the league….
