ELLWOOD Celebrates Manufacturing Week With Visits To Lawrence County High Schools
]New Castle, PA] – For the second straight year, ELLWOOD celebrated Manufacturing Week with a tour of Lawrence County area high schools, talking with area students about the many manufacturing career opportunities available in the community. ELLWOOD partnered with Lawrence County School-to-Work to coordinate the effort of visiting every high school in the county over the five-day period, reaching more than 1,000 students. The initiative is a lead-up to today’s Manufacturing Day, a nationally recognized day reserved by manufacturers to engage students.
