Two Local Students To Receive 2025 Viccari-McDonald’s of Ellwood City Scholarships

McDonald’s of Ellwood City and the Beaver County Foundation are pleased to announce that Tessa Folino from Lincoln High School and Lucas Moody from Riverside High School will both receive the 2025 Viccari-McDonald’s of Ellwood City Scholarship. The check presentations will take place at 4:30 pm TODAY, Tuesday, June 17 at McDonald’s of Ellwood City, 15 5th Street. Folini will receive $1,000 towards her college tuition in recognition of her academic achievement, leadership ability and community service. At Lincoln High School, Folini participated in Varsity Tennis, Student Council and National Honor Society while also maintaining a 4.76 grade point average….


McDonald’s Honors Local Legend With College Scholarship Program

Seniors graduating from Ellwood City High School and Riverside High School are eligible to apply for the Dom Viccari-McDonald’s of Ellwood City Scholarship. The annual scholarship is named to honor the man who worked tirelessly to improve Ellwood City for all residents, first as a five-term council member and three-term council president, and later as borough manager for more than seven years until his retirement in 2013. After a five-week closure for full renovations, the local McDonald’s restaurant reopened on Monday, October 7th with a VIP Breakfast and official ribbon-cutting ceremony. Guests of honor included PA State Rep. Aaron Bernstine, Mayor of Ellwood City, Anthony Court, Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Ellwood City Police Department.
