After a five-week closure for full renovations, the local McDonald’s restaurant reopened on Monday, October 7th with a VIP Breakfast and official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Guests of honor included PA State Rep. Aaron Bernstine, Mayor of Ellwood City, Anthony Court, Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Ellwood City Police Department.

“It was a great morning at our local McDonald’s,” said Mayor Court. “This re-opening created more jobs and a great atmosphere.”
Among the full renovations includes new kiosks inside for ordering along with table service and a new advanced drive-thru menu board.
Mobile technology will now allow McDonald’s customers to use the company’s app to select their favorite McDonald’s items, check-in at the restaurant, pay online, then enjoy a meal inside the restaurant, drive-thru, or receive curbside pickup.
The classic, long-running fast-food chain known for its burgers, fries & shakes franchise is independently owned and operated by Tri-County Management, a three-generation family business, based in Cranberry Township.
