2024 Ellwood City Homecoming Court Announced

Congratulations to the 2024 Lincoln High School Homecoming Court! The Homecoming King will be crowned at school during a Pep Rally and the Queen will be crowned at halftime of the Friday night football game vs. New Brighton. Lincoln High School will celebrate their 68th Homecoming on Friday, September 27th, at Helling Stadium against the New Brighton Lions. Pregame festivities, where the Queen’s Court will be introduced, begin at 6:30 p.m. There will be a casual dance at the high school for junior high students following the football game with DJ II Nice and admission is $5 at the door….

School Shooting Threat Deemed Not Credible

A Lincoln High School student has been disciplined after making a threat on Tuesday. District information released to parents Tuesday afternoon was provided as follows: At 12:45 PM on Tuesday, 9/10/2024, [the district] administration was alerted to a threat made by a student, which stated that the student would “shoot up the school tomorrow.” The threat assessment team convened promptly and determined that the threat was non-credible. However, the statement has been taken very seriously and actions have taken place to ensure a safe school environment. Ellwood City Wolverines 2024 Fall Sports Tickets Now Available

Tickets for the Ellwood City Wolverines Fall Sport Season will be sold on-line at gofan.co or the Go Fan app. Ellwood City will be slowly making the change to digital ticketing for all sports. There will be no tickets sold at the school at this time.  There will be a limited amount  of Adult tickets, $5.00, that can be purchased at the gate for each home game this season. LHS Class of 1969 To Hold Its 55-Year Reunion On July 5th

When the members of the Lincoln High School Class of 1969 received their diplomas, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walk on the moon during the Apollo 11 mission and the Woodstock festival rocked a farm in upstate New York for three days. Now, fifty-five years later the class is getting back together with a planned class reunion. The Lincoln High School Class of ’69, will hold their 55th year reunion on Friday, July 5, 2024 at the Ellwood City Saxon Club, 901 Millview St. beginning at 6:00 p.m. The cost is $35.00/per person and includes light fare. The Lincoln High School graduating class of 2024 will receive their diplomas on June 6th at 7:00 p.m. at the Sgt. Leslie H. Sabo Jr. Memorial Auditorium. LHS Class Of 1989 Gathering For Informal Class Reunion

It has been 35 years! The Lincoln High School Class of 1989 will be getting together for an informal class reunion later this month. Classmates will gather starting at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29th at The Time Brew Pub located at 600 Mount Vernon Drive. Classmates are asked to spread the word to any fellow classmates from the Class of 1989.

Riv-Ell Presentations: Food trucks, Mobile Florists, Special-Service Funeral Homes

Eleven seniors at Lincoln High School and four at Riverside presented business plans April 25 as the capstone project in a Riv-Ell Entrepreneurship Program and in pursuit of a 16-credit Butler County Community College workplace certificate in entrepreneurship funded by donors. Record 15 Riv-Ell Students Pitch Business Plans

A record 15 high school seniors profiting from a yearlong Riv-Ell Entrepreneurship Program pitched business plans April 25 that impressed Ellwood City area leaders and in pursuit of graduating from Butler County Community College on May 15 with a 16-credit workplace certificate funded by donors. The 11 Lincoln and four Riverside seniors in 2023-2024 represent the largest group to seek the post-secondary credential in a 6-year-old program that combines academic coursework with practical experiences. On Friday, May 3rd the annual Ellwood City Lincoln High School Prom “A Night With The Stars” will be held at the Timber House in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Prior to arriving at the Timber House, students will participate in the annual LHS Promenade held at the Leslie Sabo Memorial Auditorium.
