Downtown Ellwood City was under the lens and captured on camera last month during the “Let There Be Lights” celebration along Lawrence Avenue. As part of the filming of a new segment for HGTV’s “The American Dream”, local realtor Katelyn Dominelli expresses her excitement, vision, and helps showcase the lifestyle, people, and heart of Ellwood City. Dominelli was contacted by show producers in November to help film and highlight the municipality.

Wampum, Ellwood City Each Hosting Upcoming Light Up Night Festivities

Kick off December with a series of events inspired to get visitors in the holiday spirit. First, on Thursday, December 4th, Wampum Borough will host its “Light Up the Town” spectacle from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event will feature lighting of luminaries, free hot chocolate and fresh baked cookies, carriage rides, and visitors can finish off the night with fireworks! ‘Let There Be Lights’ Weekend Of Events Starts Friday

Kick off your Holiday’s with a series of events hosted by the Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce. First, on Friday, downtown will light up with the lighting of the holiday tree in the Ellwood City Community plaza at 7:30 p.m. as part of Ellwood City’s Light Up Night. Live entertainment will take place from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the plaza and on Lawrence Avenue and fireworks will be set off behind the plaza after the tree lighting! A series of events hosted by the Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce kicked off the first weekend of December. Friday evening, Ellwood City held its “Let There Be Lights” downtown extravaganza that featured street vendors, live performances, and the lighting of the large holiday tree in the community plaza. On Saturday, Lawrence Avenue was greeted with floats, groups and trucks as part of the annual Christmas Parade. Upcoming Chamber SBS and ‘Let There Be Lights’ Events Scheduled

The Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce is beginning to prepare for downtown holiday events! Small Business Saturday in the Ellwood City community will be held Saturday, November 30th while the ‘Let There Be Lights’ weekend of events is scheduled to be held Friday, December 6th and Saturday, December 7th. The chamber’s goal is to work together with community organizations and local businesses to help provide family-friendly events to help kick off the holiday season. Ellwood City held their annual holiday events this past weekend – Friday night’s Light Up Night and Saturday afternoon’s Christmas Parade invited families and friends downtown Ellwood City for holiday festivities. A cool and clear night helped set the stage for Light Up Night with the lighting of the large tree in the community plaza, but as with the annual parade, what feels like annual rain was in the forecast.
