NEW CASTLE – Today, the Lawrence County Commissioners announced two public events as a part of their Link Up Lawrence initiative, a project that kicked off last month and is assessing the quality and availability of broadband internet in the County. Monday night at the monthly Ellwood City Historical Society meeting, attorney Dylan Baney presented the Society with a large booklet on the history of the Wiley Hill Baptist Church. Lawrence County Seeks Community Input About Internet Access

NEW CASTLE – The Lawrence County Commissioners this week announced its initiative to evaluate internet access and connectivity throughout the county. Link Up Lawrence is a multi-faceted project that will collect data and feedback over the course of several months to identify service needs and project opportunities. Gov. Wolf: $246 Million Awarded to Support Small Businesses Across Pennsylvania

The Lawrence County Economic Development Corporation was among the 21 economic development organizations to receive upwards of $123.8 million in revolving loan funds to help aid small businesses in the county. The Revolving Loan Fund program provides funding to economic development organizations to create or recapitalize revolving loan funds to support financing for Pennsylvania small businesses. For twelve years the people of Lawrence County gave me the opportunity to serve as one of the County Commissioners. I am very grateful for that opportunity. During my terms I had the pleasure of meeting a lot of good people.
