Ellwood City Historical Society Annual Picnic

The Ellwood City Area Historical Society will host its annual picnic beginning at 6 p.m. Sept. 11 in Ewing Park’s shelter No. 8, which is located in the back loop of the park. The event is open to the public and those attending are asked to bring a covered dish to share and their own table service. The society will furnish the meat, drinks and dessert. The guest speaker will be Dan Vogler, Lawrence County commissioner chairman, who will talk on two subjects. Joyce Ross, a New Castle resident and volunteer at the Lawrence County Historical Society, has always had a passion for the paranormal.
