A Concert Of Hope

The Club Hope Foundation is Hosting “A Concert of Hope” to benefit the Club Hope Foundation for all the work they do and to help those who have fought or are fighting cancer. The Event will take place at Lincoln High School on August 3, at 7:30 p.m. Performing will be Bailey Taylor with special guests Rick Witkowski, Hermie Granati, Greg McIltrot, Rick Clew, Dan Taylor and Jordan and Sidney Taylor. Club Hope Foundation Night at McDowell’s Inn

The Club Hope Foundation is holding an event at McDowell’s Inn on Saturday starting at 6 p.m. and running till 11 p.m. The Foundation will be guest bar tending and all tips will benefit Club Hope Foundation, which helps bring hope to patients and families in the area who are affected by a cancer diagnosis. Ellwood City Yard Waste Pick Up

Yard waste pick up for Ellwood City is scheduled for the week of May 13. According to the Ellwood City Borough: YARD WASTE PICK UP: Green borough yard waste bins are also available for residents to dispose of their simple yard waste. Yard waste bins are available for purchase for $53.00 and can be purchased at the borough utility office or by calling 724-758-5576. Yard waste bins are collected on specified weeks throughout the calendar years. Dates are also provided on borough utility bills. If a resident has extra yard waste that does not fit into a container, it is recommended that they bundle…

Free Spaces to Show Creations

Daysprings on 6th is no stranger to hosting artistic events; coming up this spring is the Show and TELLwood Expo, on April 28, 2018. While the final details of the event are yet to be decided, shop owner Janet Keenan is offering fifteen free spaces to local artists and creators to display creations. Ellwood City Area Historical Society “We Can Do It” Recap

Everett Bleakney, Board President of the Ellwood City Area Historical Society sent in a recap of the successful “We Can Do It!” exhibit: “The WW II “We Can Do It!” Senator John Heinz History Center exhibit was a huge success. We were impressed with so many young students that had an interest in it. Thanks to both the Lincoln and  Riverside High Schools for taking advantage of the exhibit by holding  history classes here.
