Meet the Cast Part 1: Little Woman

Lincoln High School will be performing the classic tale, Little Woman as their musical this year. According to Laura Adam, the Musical Director, the musical will showcase the talent of the students who have dedicated a lot of time and energy to their roles. “We start a workshop in June with 3-4 different shows and choose the one that best suits the students. We chose Little Woman because they all seem to enjoy the relatabilty of the characters despite the Civil War setting. Riverside Football Tickets on Sale

After Riverside successfully defeated Frazier on Friday night, they are now preparing for the second playoff game this Friday Night against Avonworth. The game will be played at Seneca Valley at 7:30p.m. Tickets will be on sale this Wednesday in the high school athletic office from 7:50a.m.-10-50a.m. Then tickets will be sold in the middle school and elementary lunches from 10:50a.m.-12:30p.m. Finally, tickets will be on sale in the athletic office again from 12:30p.m.- 1:30p.m. Student tickets are $5 and adult tickets are $7. All tickets will be $7 at the gate.


Flood Warnings

Flood warnings have been issued for the following local counties: Beaver County, southern Lawrence County,  southwestern Butler County, and northwestern Allegheny County. According to eye witness reports, parts of Brush Creek Park are flooded. A strong rise is occurring on the Connoquenessing Creek in Zelienople, and the creek may rise out of its banks later this morning.
