Dancing In The Rain: 2022 Ellwood City Oktoberfest Held Amid Rain Skies

Rain and torrential downpours on Saturday afternoon did not damper the mood in Ewing Park as nearly 700 people braved the elements to enjoy the Ellwood City Oktoberfest. The 12th annual event squeaked out a few reasonably accommodating hours between the waves of rain that entered the Saturday afternoon forecast. The event helps raise funds for scholarships and community improvements and is hosted by the Ellwood City Lions Club, Ellwood City Rotary Club and the Ellwood City Wolves Club Den II. Wolves Club Presents Recognition Award To Rotary Club In Honor of 100th Anniversary

Ellwood City Wolves Club Den ll presents the Pro Bono Publico Recognition Award to the Rotary Club in honor of the Rotary Club’s 100th Anniversary this year. The highlight of the Wolves Club June 8th meeting, held at the Wolves Club shelter in Ewing Park, Ellwood City, PA, was the presentation of the Wolves Club ‘Pro Bono Publico (‘For the Good of the Public’) Recognition Award. EC Lions, Wolves, Rotary to host Meet and Greet Event

Many of you think of delicious festival food when you hear the names Rotary Club and Wolves Club—yes, the delectable lamb dinners and sausage sandwiches are definitely memorable—but these clubs along with the local Ellwood City Lions Club do so much more than just tempt our tastebuds.
