The Rotary Club of Ellwood City invites you to an evening with Ed Prence. The event is scheduled to take place Thursday, January 18th at 7:00pm at the Trinity Lutheran Church Sanctuary (207 Spring Avenue, Ellwood City). Local Koppel native, amateur baseball player and award winning author, Ed Prence will be giving a book talk on his second book “Last of the Rockland Boys“. Ed draws upon his experiences as a life-long amateur player and his boyhood growing up in a small western-Pennsylvania steel town, where baseball was everything. Wolves Club Presents Oktoberfest Donations

The Ellwood City Wolves Club Den 11 met on Wednesday, November 8th at the Connequenessing Country Club. During the meeting the recent Oktoberfest was reported on by Chairman Dennis Boariu. The Club provided a donation of $2,000.00 from the Oktoberfest proceeds to the Ellwood City Volunteer Fire Department for their Advance Life Support (ALS) Unit. The Wolves Club also provided donations from the Oktoberfest proceeds to the Ellwood City Lions and Ellwood City Rotary. Each club was represented at the Oktoberfest. Ellwood City Oktoberfest Tickets Now On Sale

The Ellwood City Oktoberfest Tickets are now on sale. Oktoberfest, a partnership of community organizations, is in its 13th year and will take place on Saturday, October 7th in Ewing Park. The Wolves Club, Rotary Club of Ellwood City and the Ellwood City Lions fundraiser highlights craft brewers, sampling of a variety of craft beers, raffles, auctions and games. Net proceeds of the event go to support the clubs’ programs and projects for the Ellwood City Area community. Rotary Club of Ellwood City Delivers Water to East Palestine

The Rotary Club of Ellwood City delivered three pallets of bottled water on Friday to East Palestine, Ohio. The club is now sponsoring a community-wide initiative in conjunction with Tomon Funeral Home and Trinity Lutheran Church to collect other items the residents need. Items needed include bottled water, paper towels, white vinegar, bleach-free cleaning products, Dawn dish soap, laundry detergent, rolls of quarters, personal care items, dog and cat food. Dancing In The Rain: 2022 Ellwood City Oktoberfest Held Amid Rain Skies

Rain and torrential downpours on Saturday afternoon did not damper the mood in Ewing Park as nearly 700 people braved the elements to enjoy the Ellwood City Oktoberfest. The 12th annual event squeaked out a few reasonably accommodating hours between the waves of rain that entered the Saturday afternoon forecast. The event helps raise funds for scholarships and community improvements and is hosted by the Ellwood City Lions Club, Ellwood City Rotary Club and the Ellwood City Wolves Club Den II. Wolves Club Presents Recognition Award To Rotary Club In Honor of 100th Anniversary

Ellwood City Wolves Club Den ll presents the Pro Bono Publico Recognition Award to the Rotary Club in honor of the Rotary Club’s 100th Anniversary this year.
