The Ellwood City Wolverines defeated Quaker Valley 5-1 on Saturday. Prior to the contest, the Ellwood City seniors were recognized with their parents as part of the Senior Day game. After a relatively quiet first five innings, Ellwood City scored four runs in the sixth inning to put the game out of reach. Aaron Falk powered the Riverside Panthers to a 6-2 victory over Ellwood City Friday afternoon. Falk drove in runs with a single in the first, a double in the second, and a home run in the fifth inning.
