Ellwood City baseball and softball teams each earned WPIAL playoffs berths last year and each program will look to continue to build on last year’s success in their respective 2022 campaigns. The Ellwood City High School baseball team wrapped up an impressive fall campaign, making a run in the single elimination playoff tournament before ultimately falling to defending WPIAL Champion Hopewell last weekend. 70th Ellwood City Little League Tournament To Begin Tonight

BATTER UP! The 70th Ellwood City Little League Tournament will begin on Tuesday night at Freidhoff Field. The tournament, which began in 1952, is the second oldest Little League tournament in the country next to the Little League World Series which is in its’ 74th season.
