Stephen G. “Bimbo” Grinnen, 69, of New Beaver Borough passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at his residence. Born February 23, 1954 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Robert K. and Helen Szilvasi Grinnen. Bimbo had graduated from Mohawk High School. He was a Veteran of the Army serving from 1970-1972. A man of all trades, he was a self-employed contractor along with being the owner/operator of the Mines and Meadows Valley View Campground. Cameron Dean Staples, 21, of Indian Trail, North Carolina (formerly of Ellwood City, PA) passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 12 of natural causes. He was born September 19, 2002 in Ellwood City, PA to Lenny and Stacy (Cooper) Staples. Cameron was a true animal lover, especially when it came to his dogs Allie and Sydney. It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Karin Marie Nussbaum. Karin was born in Germany on March 12, 1957, to Hans and Erna (Belka) Nussbaum and came to America as a nine-month old. She grew up in Ellwood City in a happy neighborhood. She graduated from Ellwood City High School in 1977 and later from Jameson Nursing School in New Castle. She became a cardiac nurse and worked in Central Medical Hospital in Pittsburgh for a number of years. ln her youth, she loved camping, hiking and riding horses. Sally Lou (Lewis) LeViere 92 went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and the love of her life, Sheldon “Shelly” LeViere Sr. on December 17, 2023. Sally was born in Ellwood City on April 18, 1931 to Oliver and Gertrude (Knight) Lewis. She graduated from Lincoln High School, Class of 1950, and married her husband Sheldon on Nov.8, 1952. Angela K. Weller, Gibsonia, Pa., formerly a longtime resident of Hermitage, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, Dec. 16, 2023, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was 83. Mrs. Weller was born Nov. 24, 1940, in Ellwood City, Pa., a daughter of Frank and Kate (Herman) Calandriello, and graduated from Ellwood City Lincoln High School in 1958.
