Betty Leddon, 62, of Squaw Run Rd. Wayne Township passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 13, 2024 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born April 6, 1962 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Anna Mae Stanford Oliver. Betty worked in the dietary department at UPMC Cranberry Place. A lover of all animals, she raised pugs, was on the board of Feline Friends of Ellwood City and was a member of the Lawrence County Animal Relief Fund. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, and gambling. Mr. Ralph L. Lutz, 75, of Park Gate passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 10th, 2024 surrounded by his girls at the Butler Memorial Hospital. Mr. Lutz was born on January 27th, 1949 in Ellwood City to the late Norman L. and Margaret L. (Coast) Lutz. He is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1966 and Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church. Anthony Rockar Jr, 87, of New Galilee passed away at his residence on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 surrounded by his family. Born May 14, 1937 in Campbell, OH, he was the son of the late Anthony Sr. and Julia Stralick Rockar. He was married to Dolores Woods Rockar when she passed away in 1999. Anthony worked at the J & L in Aliquippa as an equipment operator and was a member of the LMBA and a social member of the VFW both in New Galilee. Thomas Matthew Pazsint, 71, of Wampum, passed away on July 7th, 2024 following an extended illness. He was born on September 14th, 1952 to the late Alice and Alexander Pazsint. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1971, attended YSU, lived worked and gardened with a heart that never darkened to others. He will be sadly missed. Lynn Marie Johnson-Carothers, 57, of Ellwood City, passed away on June 8th 2024 at her residence. Lynn was born on April 6th, 1967 in Brockton, Massachusetts to the late Carl O. “Mo” and Margaret E. “Peg” (Dearth) Johnson. She graduated from Brockton Highschool and later relocated to Ellwood City, PA.
