Willie M. Alexander, 69, of Pittsburgh passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022 at West Penn Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born June 20, 1953 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late William Alexander and Inez Bell Alexander Rodriquez. Willie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pittsburgh where he served as their Secretary. Paul J. McQuiston, 50, of Lowellville Ohio, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown following a lengthy courageous battle with cancer. Born September 12, 1972 in Aliquippa, he was the son of Gerald A. and Linda McQuiston. He was married to Johanna C. (McDonald) McQuiston. Paul was a rail washman for the P.S.C. Group in Monaca, PA. Warren Charles Kenn, 85, of New Castle died November 25, 2022 at his home. He was the son of the late Melvin and Edith (Myers) Kenn and was born June 15, 1937, in Chicago, IL. Anthony J. “Tony” Biega, 53, of Chewton passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at UPMC Passavant – McCandless following a short illness. Born February 27, 1969 in Ellwood City, he was the son of John Biega Jr. and Gloria Biega. He was married to the late Jackie Biega for over 20 years, until she passed on June 19, 2021. Born August 17, 1930 in Chewton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Albina Kosior Hozick. She was married for 65 years to Joseph E. “Buster” Hairhoger who passed away December 30, 2012. Eleanor S Palatka of Ellwood City, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Trinity Oaks Personal Care following an extended illness. Eleanor was born September 16, 1928 to the late Joseph and Susanna Fletcher Savu. She was a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1946. Following high school graduation, Eleanor entered the work force as a telephone operator for the Bell Telephone Company in Ellwood City. She subsequently exercised her entrepreneurial spirit as owner of Palatka’s Fine Shoes in Ellwood City.
