Mrs. Sandra K. Hardesty, 76, of Bessemer, formerly Ellwood City, passed away on Sunday, July 17th, 2022 at the UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. Mrs. Hardesty was born on March 11, 1946 in Pittsburgh to the late John V. and Marietta (Bassler) Markle. She had worked at Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople, Sherwood Oaks in Cranberry, and Heritage Valley Medical Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Sandra enjoyed reading and jig saw puzzles. David Carl Tammaro, 69, of Waynesboro, went home to be with the Lord on Friday July 8, 2022. He was born on August 5, 1952, in Ellwood City, PA, to the late Phillip Anthony Tammaro, SR, and Mary Pishioneri Tammaro. David faithfully served as a member of the US Army from 1972 until 1974. He moved from Pennsylvania to Waynesboro in 1987, and retired from Southern Company as a Security Instructor in August of 2016. Mrs. Ruth Genevieve (Hampton) Holleran passed away peacefully in her home in Avon Lake, Ohio on Wednesday July 13, 2022. She was the youngest of 13 children born to the late William Bernard and Anna Cecilia (Haney) Hampton on September 23, 1927. She grew up in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania and had fond memories of her hometown and large family. Erik Anderson, 50, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on May 31, 2022. Born on April 23, 1972 in Phoenix, Erik was the son of Helmer T. Louis was born on June 20th, 1923 in Ellwood City to the late Luigi and Sara (Ruscillo) Franze. He graduated from the Lincoln High School with the class of 1941 and enlisted with U.S. Airforce.
