Charles R. Hall, 100, of Second St., Ellwood City passed away peacefully Friday, June 17, 2016 at Trinity Oaks Nursing Home following a brief illness. Born July 27, 1915 in Koppel, he was the son of the late William and Nettie Herman Hall. He was married 46 years to Virginia Brooks Hall as they were married on March 23, 1937. Virginia passed away May 15, 1981. Charles graduated from Lincoln High School in 1933 and moved to Ellwood in 1936. He retired from the US Steel National Tube following 40 years of service in the Industrial Engineering and Maintenance Departments….

Betty J. Wall, 91, of Sherwood Dr., New Galilee (Big Beaver Boro) passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at the Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehab Center following a brief illness. Born February 10, 1925 in Darlington, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Pearl Baker Crees. She was married for 52 years to William Wall as they were married on August 5, 1946 and he passed away August 17, 1998. Betty was a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. Paul A. Maochi, 94, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 in his residence. Paul was born on Jan. 24, 1922 in New Galilee to the late Peter and Angeline (Caroni) Maochi. Paul is a member of the Beaver Falls High School class of 1939. He enlisted with the U.S. Army on Jan. 28, 1943 and served with the Medical Corps in Northern Ireland, England and France until his discharge on Dec. 26, 1945 with the rank of Technical Sergeant. Bryan Paul Hague, 44, of Hanna St., New Castle passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital following a short courageous battle with cancer. Born July 29, 1971 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of Ralph and Judy Engle Hague of Chippewa. He was married to Melissa Argiro Hague who survives. Bryan graduated from Blackhawk High School in 1990. Dorothy A. “Dot” Moyer, 78, of Florence St., Ellwood City (Ellport) passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital following a brief illness. Born July 30, 1937 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Steve and Dorothy (Randazzo) Custozzo. She was married for 52 years to Frederick O. Moyer as they were married September 2, 1963. John Stambul, Jr., 92, of Elm Street, Bessemer, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016 in UPMC Jameson. Born in West Wooster, Ohio on June 11, 1923, John was the son of the late John and Mildred Jurich Stambul. John married the former Mary Frank and she preceded him in death in 1960.
