LuAnn Blaine, 63, of Spring Ave., Ellwood City passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the Ellwood City Hospital. Despite being in ill health, death was unexpected. Born April 7, 1953 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late David and Rose Geniviva Moritza. She was married for 38 years to Robert J. Blaine as they were married June 10, 1978. He survives. LuAnn graduated from Lincoln High School in 1971 and continued her education, graduating from Slippery Rock University. Raymond D. Reed Jr., 58, of Mt. Jackson passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, August 9, 2016. Born February 17, 1958 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Raymond D. Reed Sr. and Annette Fandozzi Mahood of Hubbard, Ohio. He was married to Susan Coulter Reed who survives. Ray was a Supervisor with Smith Paving Company. A Navy Veteran, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and cooking. Mrs. Shirley E. Gearhart, 81, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, August, 8, 2016 in the Evergreen Nursing Center. Mrs. Gearhart was born on May 15, 1935 in Ellwood City to the late Floyd and Mary Kathryn Antherson Smith, Sr.. She is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1953, and the Christ Presbyterian Church. Shirley had worked at Loccisano’s Golden Dawn as a baker for 42 years. Bill was born in Blue Island, IL, on January 1st, 1923. He was married on June 5, 1945 to the love of his life, Constance M. Vota Fischer, who died on December 22, 2000 after more than 55 years of marriage. Leonard L. Wolfe, 90, of Ellwood City passed away on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016 in the UPMC Passavant Hospital. Leonard was born on April 1, 1926 in Ellwood City to the late Frank F. and Nancy Russo Wolfe, Sr. Leonard enlisted with the U.S. Marine Corp. in October of 1943 and served in the Pacific Theatre during World War II with the rank of Sargent until his discharge in November of 1947. Robert M. Buzzelli, 73, of Perry Twp. passed away on Friday, Aug. 5, 2016 in the Butler Veterans Administration Hospital. He was born on Aug. 30, 1942 in New Castle to the late Domenik and Louise Capone Buzzelli.
