William K. “Biff” Pander Jr, 85, of Ellwood City passed away peacefully Saturday, January 6, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born January 7, 1938 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late William K. Pander Sr. and Jean Schantz Pander Weingartner. He was married to Helen ” Pudy” (Krestel) Pander for 64 years as they were married August 29, 1959. She survives Biff retired from the Ellwood City School District where he was a 5th grade teacher at Walnut Ridge. He was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Delida P. Viccari formerly of Ellwood City, passed away on January 4th, 2024 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Delida was born on August 4th, 1933 in New Castle to the late Domenic and Catherine (Adamo) Tommelleo. She graduated from New Castle High School and then from St. Francis nursing school. Delida went on to become a registered nurse, working in the maternity ward of Mary Evan’s Hospital and later at St. Francis Hospital. Dorothy Greubel Stahl, 97, formerly of Latrobe, Ellwood City, Bradford Woods and Zelienople passed away peacefully at Passavant Hospital in McCandless on Thursday, December 28, 2023 after a two-week hospitalization. Carl Koziar, 67, of Ellwood City passed away on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024 art UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. Carl was born in Ellwood City on November 5th, 1956 to the late George and Charlotte (McClelland) Koziar. He had graduated from Riverside High School and later from Capital Campus of Penn State University in August of 1978. Carl was a hard worker.
