Mrs. Angeline M. Pope, 87, of Wampum passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 in the Good Samaritan Hospice. Mrs. Pope was born on August 20, 1929 in Ellwood City to the late Frank and Antoinette Mercato Toscano. She had attended Lincoln High School and is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish. Angeline had worked at the Ellwood City Knitting Mill, Romar Textiles, and then at the Beaver Valley Nursing Center and Rehabilitation as a care nurse for 29 years. She also was a secretary at her daughters dance studio, Barb’s School of Dance and Baton, for many years….

Jeremiah George Baker, 36, of Ridgewood Way, Neshannock Twp. passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at his residence. Born August 22, 1980 in New Castle, he was the son of Mark R. and Marie E. Annarelli Baker of Wampum. Jeremiah graduated from New Castle High School in 1999. WW II Navy Veteran and Hero, beloved husband, respected father, and fun-loving grand and great grandfather, David O’Dell Cook, 90 of Woodside Avenue, Ellwood City died the morning of Sunday, September 25, 2016 after a brief illness.
