James L. Beatrice, 73, of Wampum Rd., Ellwood City passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Heritage Valley Beaver Hospital. Born October 16, 1942 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Carmen J. and Elizabeth Muoio Beatrice. He was married for 33 years to Karen Queen Beatrice as they were married February 16, 1983. Jim was the retired owner and operator of J. Beatrice Foods. He and his wife, Karen had formerly owned the Nautical Lounge in Beaver Falls. Josephine Lucille Eonta, of Ellwood City, died July 27, 2016. She was 90. She was born in Ambridge, Pa., on Sept. 16, 1925, just after her twin sister, Mary, the youngest of seven, Gerardo, Laura, Antoniette, Alfonso, Frank, and Mary: to parents who’d not been in America long. Carmen J. DeGennaro, 94, of Ellwood City passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 in his residence with his loving family at his side. Mr. DeGennaro was born on July 11, 1922 in Italy to the late Stefano and Assunta Napolitano DeGennaro. He is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1942 and the Holy Redeemer Parish.
