Edward J. Hozick, 53, of Snake Run Rd., Chewton passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 at his residence. Although in ill health, death was unexpected. Born February 29, 1964 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Robert J. “Butsy” Hozick and Helen Louise Rychlicki Hozick of Chewton. Ed graduated from Shenango High School in 1982. He worked at Koppel Steel and was a member of the Steelworkers Union. Ed was a member of Holy Redeemer Church and the Chewton Polish White Eagles. Karen M. Labor, 61 of Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at her residence. Karen was born on October 30, 1956 in Ellwood City to the late Donald J. Labor Sr. and Carmella Maietta Labor. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1974, and from the Community College of Beaver County with a degree in Business Management. She also graduated from Geneva College with a degree in Business. For many years Karen worked at various dental offices in the area as an office manager. Wayne S. McAnlis, 93, of New Galilee passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Golden Hill Nursing Center in New Castle following an extended illness. Born August 29, 1924 in New Galilee, he was the son of the late William S. and Mae Jenkins McAnlis. He was married for 67 years to Lois Vance McAnlis who survives. Wayne graduated from Mt. Jackson High School. He retired in 1985 from Babcock and Wilcox where he was an equipment operator. Wayne was also a lifetime farmer. Keaira Cunningham, 16, of Deemer Avenue, Ellport passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the Ellwood City Medical Center. Born in Brighton Township on May 22, 2001 Keaira was the daughter of Dana Locke of New Castle and the late Alan B. Mary Beth Dunning, 57 of Ellwood City passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 in West Penn Hospital following a courageous battle with Leukemia. Born in Ellwood City on September 4, 1960, Mary Beth was the daughter of the late Thomas R. and Rose Ann Sulia Dunning.  Mary Beth started her career at Duquesne Light now known as First Energy as an electrical engineer in 1982.  Over the past 35 years she worked in various positions.  Her most recent position she held was the Supply Chain Manager.  She was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish in Ellwood City.  Mary Beth…
