Mr. Tillia was born on April 22, 1944 in Ellwood City to the late Clarence E. and Mary E. Shields Tillia. Tom is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1962 and had attended Slippery Rock University. He enjoyed traveling at home and abroad. Arnold S. Armstrong, 68, of Stephenson, Virginia passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Winchester Medical Center in Virginia following a short illness. Born December 19, 1947 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Edwin Plummer and Mary Alice Deal Armstrong. He was married to Barbara Bable Armstrong who survives. Arnold retired on October 31, 1984 as a Radioman Chief from the US Navy. His military achievements included receiving the Joint Service Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Battle Efficiency Ribbon. Walter R. Kirkwood, 90, formerly of Wampum passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at Rhodes Estates in New Castle following an extended illness. Born December 22, 1925 in Wampum, he was the son of the late James Dorse and Helen Ruth Nagel Kirkwood. He was married for 73 years to Jean Grinnen Kirkwood who survives.
