Evelyn Pearl Dooley, 92, a long time resident of Trinity Oaks in Franklin Township, Ellwood City passed away April 3, 2018. She was born in Franklin Township on February 11, 1926, the daughter of Mr. John and Mrs. Elise Stephenson. She was married to Robert J. Dooley for 55 years; Bob died in 2001. Together on Butler Avenue in Franklin Township, they raised their beautiful daughter Darcy, also deceased. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, Scott B.   Martha Leona Moyer, 102, formerly of Ellwood City passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Forest Hill Heights Assisted Living Home in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born May 31, 1915 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Cora D. Marshall Brandon. She was married for 43 years to Earl P. Moyer as they were married on December 21, 1942. Ruth J. Jubach, 87, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, April 1 2018 at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford PA. She was born in Ellwood City on November 2 1930, to the late George and Anna Marie “Oma” Bruner Jubach. Ruth graduated from Lincoln High School in Ellwood City in 1949.  She had worked for a time in the business offices at aircraft companies in California, and also worked for various companies here, including Medusa Cement Company in Wampum.   But she was mainly known here as the longtime secretary to late Attorney Wilbert McKim. Mr. Smith was born on April 23, 1940 in Lackawanna, NY to the late Norman E. and Marjorie V. (Garasz) Smith. He had graduated from the Lackawanna High School with the class of 1958. Michael J. McCutcheon, 56, of Kyle Rd., New Castle (North Beaver Twp.) passed away at his home on Friday, March 30, 2018 surrounded by his loving family following a courageous battle with lymphoma.   Samuel C. Mullin Jr. was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on February 19, 1930 and passed away in Ellwood City, PA, on March 22, 2018. Donald Cooper, 81, of Volpes Way, Ellwood City (Wayne Twp.) passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at his residence following a lengthy illness.
