Mrs. Lois Siovaila, 87, of Ellport departed for Heaven on Monday, May 14, 2018 at the UPMC Jameson Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Siovaila was born on April 12, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Peter P. and Pauline (Jurick) Schalois. Lois worked at Prince Beaterman Textile in Cleveland, the Ellwood City Knitting Mill, Romar Textile, and Dustproof. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. Mr. Walter Meyer, 77, of Ellwood City passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at his residence with his loving family at his side. Mr. Meyer was born on January 21, 1941 in Pittsburgh to the late John and Viola (Brown) Meyer. He had graduated from the South Vocational School in Pittsburgh. He was a machinist by trade. Robert J. Tomko Sr., 83, of West Pittsburg passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at his residence following a short illness. Born July 19, 1934 in Struthers, Ohio, he was the son of the late Joseph and Cecelia Baron Tomko. He was married to Patricia Mahon Tomko for 59 years. She survives. Robert retired from Youngstown Sheet and Tube where he was a carpenter. He graduated from Struthers High School and was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Parish. Mrs. Christine G. Casciato, 93 of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Avalon Nursing Center. Mrs. Casciato was born on July 19, 1924 in Ellwood City to the late Bernado and Damiana (Losacco) Sera. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1942. Theresa Rocco DeLoia born August 10, 1922 passed away peacefully May 10, 2018 at the DuBois Nursing Home surrounded by her family. Theresa was retired from Ellwood City Hospital where she worked in food service for over 30 years. For 67 years she was the beloved wife of the late Paul “Arch” DeLoia. Nora M. Wiley, 79, of Franklin Twp. Ellwood City passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital following a short illness. Born March 17, 1939 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Mabel Baldwin Louden . Nora was married to LaVern A. “Dern” Wiley for 36 years when he passed away November 11, 1994.
