Born on October 31, 1952, in Ellwood City, PA to the late Antonio “Nino” and Aurora (Di Battista) Riccio, Vinny was a well-known businessman, owning and operating Vinny’s Restaurant and Pizzeria with his wife Patty since 1980. Phyllis J. Kirkham, 93, of Ellwood City passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 12:13 AM at The Grove of New Castle. Born in Chewton on April 23, 1930, Phyllis was the daughter of the late Homer and Ruth Wiles Fosnaught.  She was preceded in death by her husband, George Kirkham on October 26, 2017.  They were married on June 30, 1951.  Phyllis was a former member of Bell Memorial Presbyterian Church.  She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos, but mostly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Stephen G. “Bimbo” Grinnen, 69, of New Beaver Borough passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at his residence. Born February 23, 1954 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Robert K. and Helen Szilvasi Grinnen. Bimbo had graduated from Mohawk High School. He was a Veteran of the Army serving from 1970-1972. A man of all trades, he was a self-employed contractor along with being the owner/operator of the Mines and Meadows Valley View Campground. Joanne Scala, 69, of Ellport, passed away in her residence on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, Joanne was the daughter of the late Robert & Beverly Goode. She married David Scala on June 28, 1980. Joanne retired from Anchor Hocking as a process auditor. She was a member of Divine Grace Parish.
