Karen D. Bentel, 71, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 at the UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. Karen was born on March 31, 1947 in Ellwood City to the late Donald Smith, and Mary McDowell (Smith) Wilson of Ellwood City. For many years Karen worked at Romar Textile in Ellport. She enjoyed coal gardening, sewing, baking, quilt making, and was an active member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Robert   A.  Doughty, 88,  of  Ellwood City,  passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, October 2 2018 at the Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle. He was born in Sewickley PA  on April 14 1930 to the late William and Catherine Lindsay Doughty. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving as a corporal  and driver from 1950-52 in the Korean War. Constance Jean Reeher, 68, of New Beaver Boro passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh following a short unexpected illness.
