Mr. Albert D. Ierullo, 88, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the UPMC Jameson Memorial Hospital. Albert was born on November 11, 1928 in Ellwood City to the late Domenico and Mildred Fera Ierullo. He had attended Lincoln High School and is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish. Albert served with the U.S. Army from February 28, 1951 with the 78th quartermaster base depot company until his discharge on February 12, 1953 and held the rank of Private First Class. Mr. John Albert Manzetti, 93, of Franklin Twp. passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the Heritage Valley Medical Center. John was a true part of the “Greatest Generation” and was the “real deal”.  He was a proud father of 2 boys, grandfather of 4 and great-grandfather of 5. Arthur J. Mazzei, 47, of Ellwood City went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Allegheny General Hospital following a brief illness. Arthur was born on July 29, 1970 in Ellwood City to the late Joseph “Lucky” and Connie DeBaise Mazzei, Sr.. He had attended Lincoln High School and graduated from the Lawrence County Vo-Tech where he studied the restaurant trade. Mrs. Helen M. Montgomery, 73, of Fombell passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Passavant Retirement Community. Mrs. Montgomery was born on November 30, 1943 in Leechburg to the late Herbert and Viola Wyrick. She is a member of the Leechburg High School class of 1961. She had worked at Reboard in Apollo, PA and later for Romar Textiles for 26 years as a seamstress. Helen also was a member of the former Knox Presbyterian Church and the Franklin Twp. Mary Jane Appollino Caccia, 88, of Johnson St., Ellwood City passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 at The Grove At Harmony. Born October 30, 1928 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Vienna Giard Appollino. She was married on August 20, 1957 to William Caccia Jr. Mary Jane graduated from Lincoln High School and was a member of Holy Redeemer Church. She retired in 2005 from Angel’s Cleaning Service. Gloria Jean Skornickel Kleinhample, 70 of Mars passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at her current home with her cousin’s family in Ellwood City. Gloria was born in Pittsburgh on February 9, 1947 to the late Charles and Grace Braun Skornickel.  She was a graduate of Mars High School and a retired nurse’s aide at St. John’s Specialty Care Center in Mars.
